Galfrè Mounted Mowers are compact and robust machines suitable for small and medium-sized farms. Thanks to the use of high-quality raw materials and constant control and testing, these machines are durable over time, always ensuring a clean and fast cut in any terrain condition.
Our machines start with a working width of 1.05 meters, reaching up to 2.60 meters.
STRENGTHS
DIRECT DRIVE: All machines in the FRG series are equipped with direct transmission from the gear unit to the cutting bar via the PTO shaft.
PERFECT CUT IN ANY CONDITION: Thanks to the free-spinning lower discs, you can mow in any terrain condition, whether it's wet or with wind-blown grass. With the Galfrè mower, you'll always get a perfect and clean cut.
PERFECT WINDROWS: Thanks to the cutting system on both the cutting discs and the drum, you will always have a perfect and well-ventilated windrow.
QUICK BLADE REPLACEMENT: With a special key, you can quickly and safely change the blades.
In case of impacts with obstacles in the field, the safety release system allows the cutting bar to disengage, significantly limiting damage to the machine.
Terrain adaptability: Thanks to the pivot point between the two drums, our machines can reach cutting angles of up to ± 15°.
All our trailed mowers can be equipped with either a rubber roller or hard plastic flail conditioner. Thanks to the direct drive through the gearbox to the conditioner, clogging caused by traction slippage is avoided, ensuring a consistently regular and well-ventilated windrow.
CHARACTERISTICS AND USE OF OUR CONDITIONERS
FLAIL CONDITIONER: The plastic flail conditioner scrapes the waxy surface of the leaves and stems, breaking the stems to accelerate moisture loss. During conditioning, the grass is lifted, forming a wide windrow behind the mower.
Conditioning results in rapid wilting or drying, preserving nutrients and ensuring better forage quality.
RUBBER ROLL CONDITIONER: The rubber roll conditioner crushes the stems, opening them lengthwise to accelerate moisture loss. This type of conditioning is recommended for alfalfa and ryegrass forage, as it doesn't damage the delicate leaves and preserves their nutritional value.
When using a rubber roll conditioner, the plant's delicate leaves remain intact. This type of conditioning prevents leaf shredding and protein loss, ensuring higher nutritional value and better forage quality.
