Our front drum mowers are light and compact thanks to the machine’s center of gravity being kept as close as possible to the tractor, ensuring excellent stability even on the most rugged terrain. Thanks to their compact design, they are agile in transport, even on narrow roads. All the cutting bars in the F-FRG series are made in-house and guarantee fast and uniform forage cutting. Built only with high-quality materials to ensure constant reliability over time. Our mowers range from 1.30 m to 3.20 m in width.
KEY FEATURES
DIRECT TRANSMISSION: All machines in the F-FRG series are equipped with direct transmission from the gear group to the cutting bar thanks to the PTO shaft.
PERFECT CUT IN ANY CONDITION: Thanks to the freely rotating lower discs, you can mow in any terrain condition, whether it's wet or grass flattened by wind. With the Galfrè mower, you will always get a perfect and clean cut.
PERFECT WINDROWS: Thanks to the cutting and conveying system present on both the cutting discs and the drum, you will always have a perfect and well-aerated windrow.
QUICK KNIFE REPLACEMENT: With a specially designed tool, you can change the blades quickly and safely.
EXCELLENT GROUND ADAPTABILITY: Thanks to the balance weights placed on the front pull, our front mowers allow great ground adaptation with swing angles of ±10°. Moreover, the lightening springs ensure an even distribution of the cutting bar’s weight without being too heavy on the ground.
PULL-TYPE MOWER CONDITIONERS F-FRG/R AND F-FRG/F SERIES
All our front mowers can be equipped with either rubber roller or hard plastic flail conditioners. Thanks to direct transmission via a gearbox on the conditioner, blockages caused by traction slippage are avoided, ensuring a regular and well-aerated windrow.
CHARACTERISTICS AND USE OF OUR CONDITIONERS
FLAIL CONDITIONER: The plastic flail conditioner scrapes the waxy surface of leaves and stems and breaks the stems to accelerate moisture loss. During conditioning, the grass is lifted, forming a wide windrow behind the mower. This process speeds up wilting or drying, preserving nutrients and ensuring better forage quality.
RUBBER ROLLER CONDITIONER: The rubber roller conditioner crushes the stems and opens them lengthwise, accelerating moisture loss. This type of conditioning is recommended for alfalfa and ryegrass forage, as it does not damage delicate leaves and preserves their nutritional value. When using a rubber roller conditioner, the delicate leaves of the plant remain intact, preventing leaf shredding and protein loss, thus ensuring greater nutritional value and better forage quality.
