The trailed mowers of the T-FRD series are highly stable machines that adapt optimally to the terrain, ensuring high-quality mowing with significant energy savings, reduced fuel consumption, and less wear and tear. The towed version of the mower ensures high productivity even with lighter tractors.
STRENGTHS
Our custom-designed discs are made of high-quality steel with a thickness of 5 mm, ensuring excellent durability over time. Additionally, they provide optimal grass flow. Discs with a quick knife-change system are also available.
The disc transmission system is mounted on the cutting bar with a double bearing, ensuring resistance to heavy workloads.
Transmission safety system for the disc. Our shaft gears feature a groove to prevent internal mechanical damage in case of a single gear failure.
Easy to maintain, thanks to foldable protective covers, maintenance becomes easy and requires minimal effort from the operator.
In case of impact with obstacles in the field, the safety release system allows the cutting bar to disengage, significantly reducing damage to the machine.
Terrain adaptability thanks to a weight reduction system, available either with 4 springs or a hydraulic system with nitrogen accumulators. The machine guarantees constant terrain adaptation, ensuring an even cut without damaging the turf.
All our towed mowers can be equipped with a centrally mounted drawbar that can be hydraulically moved to either side. This way, the machine ideally adapts to individual preferences.
TOWED MOWER CONDITIONERS SERIES T-FRD/R AND T-FRD/F
All our towed mowers can be equipped with either a rubber roller conditioner or a hard plastic flail conditioner. Thanks to direct transmission via a gearbox to the conditioner, jamming due to traction slippage is avoided, ensuring a consistent and well-aerated swath.
CHARACTERISTICS AND USE OF OUR CONDITIONERS
FLAIL CONDITIONER The hard plastic flail conditioner scrapes the waxy surface of the leaves and stems and breaks the stems to speed up moisture loss. During conditioning, the grass is lifted, and a wide swath is formed behind the mower. Conditioning ensures rapid wilting or drying, preserving nutrients and ensuring better forage quality.
RUBBER ROLLER CONDITIONER The rubber roller conditioner crushes the stems and opens them lengthwise, speeding up moisture loss. This type of conditioning is recommended for alfalfa and ryegrass forage as it does not damage delicate leaves and preserves their nutritional value. When using a rubber roller conditioner, the plant's delicate leaves remain intact. This type of conditioning prevents leaf shredding and protein loss, ensuring higher nutritional value and better forage quality.
